Alan L. Elliott, MD

A native of Chattanooga, Dr. Elliott completed his undergraduate training at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He received his medical degree from the East Tennessee State University College of Medicine. Dr. Elliott completed his residency training in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville followed by a fellowship in rheumatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC. Following training, Dr. Elliott spent seven years in private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina before returning to Chattanooga and joining Arthritis Associates in 2014.

Dr. Elliott is board certified in rheumatology. He is a Fellow in the American College of Rheumatology and is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society, the Tennessee Rheumatology Society and United Rheumatology. He is married with three children and attends Silverdale Baptist Church. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and camping.
